City Park Denver Engagement Session

As a wedding & elopement photographer, I am always on the lookout for beautiful and unique locations to capture engagement sessions. So when my couple. Sarah and Daniel, suggested having their session in City Park in Denver, CO, I was excited to explore one of my favorite Denver spots and see what we could create.

City Park is located in the heart of Denver and spans over 330 acres, making it one of the largest parks in the city. It's a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, offering stunning views of the Denver skyline, a large lake, and plenty of greenery.

We arrived at the park right before golden hour in the middle of Winter to avoid the crowds and take advantage of the soft, warm light. Sarah and Daniel were dressed in casual yet stylish (and warm) outfits, perfect for the relaxed vibe of the park. They were a joy to work with, full of energy and laughter, and it was clear to see the love they had for each other.

We started the session by taking a stroll around the lake, capturing candid moments of them chatting and enjoying each other's company. The water in the lake was calm, and the reflections of the trees and buildings in the background created a stunning backdrop for our photos.

Next, we moved to one of the park's many tree-lined paths. The lush greenery provided the perfect frame for Sarah and Daniels's romantic poses, and the filtered light added a dreamy feel to the images. As we walked and talked, we discovered hidden nooks and crannies throughout the park that were perfect for photos.

One of my favorite spots was a large open field that offered unobstructed views of the mountains. Sarah and Daniel started dancing in the snow, and I captured some playful shots of them enjoying the moment.

As the sun started to set, we moved to the park's rose garden. The soft golden light illuminated the flowers and created a warm and romantic atmosphere. Sarah’s amazing winter outfit stood out beautifully against the snow and sun, and Daniel’s peacoat was perfectly tailored for the occasion.

Overall, the engagement session in City Park was a huge success. We captured beautiful, intimate moments that Sarah and Daniel will treasure for years to come. The park's stunning scenery and Sarah and Daniel’s love for each other created the perfect combination for a memorable photo session. I can't wait to see what their wedding day will bring!
