Right of Flagstaff Road in Boulder is an EPIC location that offers forest, rocks, and mountain views to die for. The best part about Artist Point is that’s not nearly as crowded as the nearby Lost Gulch. You get the secluded feel and gorgeous views (especially during sunrise/sunset) without the distractions! For couples who love a panoramic mountain view, Artist Point is a dream come true. This scenic overlook offers breathtaking views of the Indian Peaks and Boulder Valley. The short and easy hike to the viewpoint is surrounded by towering pine trees, making it a versatile location for both intimate forest shots and grand, sweeping landscapes. The National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) is a University Funded building that does atmospheric research. It also has some of the most stunning views of the Flatirons you’ve ever seen and is super easy to get to. You don’t have to walk too far to get a good spot with some mountains in the background (and yes, you can even bring your dog)! This location provides a variety of landscapes in one spot, perfect for capturing both wide, dramatic shots and intimate moments. The trails are easily accessible, making it a great choice for couples who want a natural setting without a strenuous hike.

South Mesa Trailhead
This place is a total dream! It has it all! From bridges, to water, to old rustic buildings to mountain views. You can’t go wrong anywhere on this trail. The trail is wide, flat, and has great views means that it’s perfect for engagement sessions with any types of outfits or shoes. If you’re looking for a mix of golden meadows, river crossings, and breathtaking Flatiron backdrops, South Mesa Trailhead is a must-visit location. This spot is perfect for couples who want a romantic and adventurous engagement session, with plenty of open space and natural beauty. In the fall, the changing leaves create a golden glow that makes for especially dreamy photos.
